I know how much time and effort event planners spend researching potential speakers, and it’s my hope this page will give you what you need.

Brief Introduction To Me

I have been publicly speaking for over a decade, and addressed audiences from less than ten up to thousands.  I have appeared on multiple television and radio shows over the past several years, and also campaigned for local elected office while securing 80% of the vote.

My career has included multiple roles within sales and business development sector, beginning with selling CUTCO knives while in college.  My passion has always been speaking and teaching.  My speaking career began with small classrooms filled with “at risk” juniors who the school felt were at a high risk of dropping out.  From there, I have been asked to speak to corporations, statewide associations, churches, nonprofits and community groups about the lessons I have learned through life and specifically that moment when I was told, “Your Fired.”  This life changing moment served as the catalyst to starting my blog, completing my MBA, and obtaining the certification as a Speaker, Coach, and Trainer with the John Maxwell Team.

I have been married to my amazing wife, Julie, for eight years, and we have two children ages 5 and 2.  My hobbies include playing golf, reading, boating, hunting, and fishing.

What on earth are you here to do?  Why was this organization created?  How to refocus on what matters.  How to reconnect and not “Major in the Minors”!

PROHIBITED: “That’s the way it’s always been.”

Every time I hear this phrase it makes me angry.  Wouldn’t it be nice to eliminate it from your team’s vocabulary?  It can be done, but it has to start at the top!

Tear Down The Silos And Win

Organizational effectiveness is essential to winning, yet we have continued to departmentalize ourselves.  This process looks great on organization flow charts, but terrible in overall effectiveness.  Can you imagine one department stopping long enough to ask another, “What can I do to make your job easier?”

Fighting To Win

When you get hit it hurts.  How do you take those opportunities and maximize their impact across your team?  They are watching, and they want you to get up!  How to stay in the ring and win.

“What’s In It For Me?”

Whether someone says it or not, we are all thinking it.  From customers to employees, we all want to know the answer to this question.  If we know this, why do we often forget to address it?
